Amy has pursued both legal and film and television careers. As an attorney, she has recently
assisted the defense of criminal defendants in federal court at the Law Offices of Patrick Boyle.
Previous to that, she represented victims of domestic abuse through the Pro Bono Network of
Oak Park. Directly out of law school, Amy practiced commercial litigation and corporate law at
Bell, Boyd & Lloyd. As a filmmaker, Amy co-produced The Road Up, a documentary film
which captures the precarious journey of four Chicagoans from homelessness, addiction and
incarceration to stable employment. Amy also worked at Tri-Star Pictures/Columbia Pictures in
creative advertising and for the head of the studio. In television, Amy was the Director of Story
Development and a segment producer at Towers Productions.
Amy grew up in downtown Chicago, and attended The Latin School, Brown University and
Loyola Law School. She currently lives in River Forest, Illinois.
