Vaytta Arroyo was born in Chicago, but grew up in Northwest Indiana. Vaytta attended college at Ball State University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a double minor in Interpersonal Relations and Psychology of Human Development. Vaytta went on to do her practicum with the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) and was hired upon graduation for her dream position, working with older youth aging out of foster care. After working with DCS for approximately 2.5 years, Vaytta moved to Chicago where she began substitute teaching. Eventually, Vaytta found Wolcott where she was asked to fill in long term. In the future, Vaytta would like to obtain her Master’s in School Counseling and work as a Guidance Counselor in a High School. When she is not working Vaytta loves to spend time with her family, loved ones, and two cats, Pinto and Jean.
