Jenny Marx received her BA in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and later went back to earn her teaching degree from Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota. Additionally, she completed the Accomplished Educator Program through the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, which was recognized as a Master’s Degree in her home state of Wisconsin. Jenny has always been passionate about volunteering and travel. Prior to accepting a teaching position in Wisconsin, she volunteered at a middle school with the AmeriCorps Program, tutored students at the local literacy coalition, lead Special Olympics and ARC events, spent a year living and teaching English on a tiny island in Mexico, and volunteered at an orphanage in Guatemala during her almost year-long independent study in Central America. Aside from her work in the classroom, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, metalsmithing, practicing yoga, eating delicious food, and doing anything outdoors, especially if it involves her dog, Margot.
