1 to 1 MacBook Air program
All students begin their Wolcott journey by receiving a Macbook Air (included in tuition) loaded with the software that best matches our strength-based teaching practices. Our community is comfortable, proficient, and adept at using technology. The result is enhanced learning. Hardware, software, and applications are chosen to:
- benefit the school at large
- complement the learning styles of students
- complement the teaching styles of faculty
- facilitate smooth transition from in-class to remote learning whenever necessary
Technology Empowers Future Success
Wolcott students’ mastery of technology allows them to both embrace the technologies of the present and be prepared to adapt to those of the future. Additionally, students graduate with a clear understanding of which technological resources best complement their learning styles.
Technology is meaningfully integrated throughout the campus and the curriculum.
Each classroom is equipped with an interactive white board and Swivl C3 technology.
Faculty actively embrace school portals, including posting demonstrations, recorded classroom lessons, guided notes, and assignments.
Our regular use of technology allows us to transition to fully remote school or to support students who are at home
Arts & Innovation Lab equipped with state of the art equipment, including 3D printer, laser cutter, and X-carve equipment.
